My 33 days China marriage trip story
|
First two weeks of my trip we spent mostly in running in different offices, certificating different documents, and making the marriage reality.
During the trip many things happened, we ate almost anything that moved, including pig's ears, even worms (I think), and everything else that was nice.
My wife's family members in Yin Tai owns a sea food restaurant, which has been doing well recently (they told). We eat many kinds of foods. One of the delicious foods was dried sea weed.
Other relatives of my wife own a small beer importing business, and never in my life I have liked beer before, before tasting the Tsingtao -beer brand. I recommend this with warm heart to everyone, it is possible to get 3,1%, 3,6%, and 4% strong Tsingtao (at least).
In Western KFC I was eating chocolate, my wife started feeding me like a child, I typed sametime text message to my friends in Finland. This happaned often, and my also made delicious foods for me and feed me too much (grin), because after trip I checked my weight, I had gained at least four kilos.
I got a temporary residence permit in China, after this I applied and got extended Visa (by 5 days), because first time we went to the airport, we got stuck in the traffic jam.
With my wife we tried to visit the North Korean Embassy in Beijing, but they didn't answer much at all, so therefore I felt alittle bitter taste in my mouth of the country itself, but I must admit that most of the countries in the world still have somewhat similar cold bureaucracy which doesn't understand individuals.
Finally after week of persuading, faxing, and so on, we got offer of 1000 EUR trip packet to North Korea, my wife got it for much cheaper, and I had to pay more. I could've had also get a quick visa because I had married a Chinese citizen (my wife).
I would like to thank my wife for her patience, and how she took care o fme, washed my clothes, helped me in packing stuff, even when her body wasn't strong, she still tried to help me in carrying the heavy bags.
Today I got mail from the government UVI -office regarding my wife's Residence Permit to Finland. So keep thumbs up for us, so she will receive the residence permit to Finland. She definitely is a person who deserves this! And I deserve her ;)
