What happends when U.S. war industry switches their pricing from dollar to euro? Has anyone really thoroughly thought, what happends to the United States Government's war policy, when multinational and U.S. -based companies move to use euro?
Right now they are receiving their bills in bucks, and the government can quietly smile in peace.
But it is however clear, that the government has been, for long-term, been afraid of weakening dollar - one of the main reasons for the occupation of Iraq was that dollar was anticipated to lose it's value and American economy would suffer, especially since the switch of pricing of oil to euro was inevitable.
Even the U.S. government did not believe into buying strength of U.S. dollar. They needed the oil, so therefore they needed to occupy Iraq. They did not want free market economy to stop them having it.
The U.S. forces in Iraq make sure that the Iraqi government is keeping it's oil pricing in dollars. Sametime some people talk of world's 'second peso'.
