Yhdysvaltain palkkaamat 'turvallisuusjoukot' tappoivat kymmenen afgaanipoliisia.

Kabul, 29.6. (Prensa Latina) -- Yhdysvaltain palkkaamat paikalliset "turvallisuusjouktot" tappoivat maanantaina kymmenen afganistanilaista poliisia, joiden joukossa oli alueen poliisipäällikkö.

Yhteenotto tapahtui eteläisessä Kandaharin maakunnassa.

Alueen poliisjohtaja Ahmad Wali Karzai - Afganistanin presidentti Hamid Karzain veli - vahvisti tapahtuman ja täsmensi, että poliisipäälikkö Mutaiulá Khan Qateh oli saanut surmansa tulituksessa poliisin ja Pentagonin kouluttamien afgaanisotilaiden välillä Kandaharin syyttäjänviraston edessä.

Yhdysvaltain sotilasviranomaiset ovat myöntäneet tapahtuman, mutta minkäänlaista selvitystä asiasta ei ole annettu.
